Re: Dans bits & bobs
So I began tinkering yesterday... I have not yet tried anything out in the sim as of yet... But a few models I attempted the DJC A32xs which seem to look fine in MCX and previewing with AI OWL, the AIA 757's as only the RR models were converted no the PWs, and the EVAI DC-10s, as I saw it mentioned those seemed to convert fine... While I will be curious to see how the in-sim results are one odd thing I notice on a couple of these is that I see brown boxes flashing on the screen in MCX periodically. Also on the EVAI Dc-10s the gear locks appear to just stay in place after the gear retraction animation...
Re: Dans bits & bobs
I can in no way be considered an expert here, but what I do know is that converting from one sim to another involves manually converting all the animations to the new sims standard.
If you do not know the settings then, and unless you have the source - which you won't, then in some cases you will be re-creating the triggers and parms from scratch.

Re: Dans bits & bobs
Hi all,
I've recently done a whole bunch of government 707's covering Australia, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, South Africa, Indonesia, Zaire & Chile for the late 80's & 90s. I've stuck them on my Google drive so they can be downloaded.

Nice one, Dan.
I don't know yet what gaps but the package is definitely welcome.

And for our next game, it's guess the MiG 29 operator I can't imagine this will be particularly difficult to be honest.

Re: Dans bits & bobs
Just uploaded these MiGs to the hangar, should be available shortly. Since nobody seemed to know, or wanted to guess, I can tell you that they are Polish ones, these 3 in particular are fairly interesting as they were "deployed" to the Negev desert in 1997 for testing. Presumably they removed the Polish roundels to hide where they came from. These are represented in the flightplans for this pack as well utilising 8 week plans, so you will see them in Poland but not that often. Enjoy

Re: Dans bits & bobs
Hi all, quick question. Does anyone have a copy of the MPJAI F-5 paint kit that they can send to me at all?
Thanks,

Re: Dans bits & bobs
Just uploaded 89 repaints & flightplans for the Polish Su-22's circa late 90s. I've included flightplans but as I don't know what airframe was at which base for the time they're mostly fictional.

Re: Dans bits & bobs
Just uploaded some Hungarian MiG 29's, circa late 90s, onto the hangar with flightplans to go with as well, should be up shortly. Next will probably be the German ones from the same period as well. Also nearly finished some Polish An-2's as well which I'll upload in a few days or so, all being well.

Love the look of the retro Hungarian Mig's but I can't find the required FSX model anywhere so can someone point me in the right direction, please?

Re: Dans bits & bobs
I believe the FS2004 models will work just fine in FSX, I'm not aware of any conversions that were done for the MKAI MiG 29 into FSX, only P3D

Re: Dans bits & bobs
German MiG 29s are uploaded to the hangar, please allow the usual time for them to be made available. No flightplans included this time as there are plenty out there that can be adapted. Polish An-2's next

Re: Dans bits & bobs
Polish An-2's are uploaded as promised, with flightplans as well but they're completely fictional.
Also uploaded are repaints for Slovakian MiG 29s as well, no flightplans for those ones. Plenty of MiG 29s to come as well, Malaysia & Kazakhstan to come soon.

Re: Dans bits & bobs
North Korean & Kazakh MiG 29's uploaded, Romania next to do I think. Please allow for the usual time for the library to be updated, no flightplans included in either as there are already some in existence.

Re: Dans bits & bobs
Next MiG 29 projects will be uploaded this coming week, Romanian & Moldovan examples. The Moldovan ones are particularly interesting as they were purchased by the US basically to stop Iran getting them. I have done some flightplans for the Moldovan examples but I simply based them at Edwards & have them infrequently flying around to local waypoints.
Also a massive thanks to Geoffj for sending me what I need for the next one, & apologies to the developers team I sent you all a pm by mistake so you'll all know what's coming now
