The RMAF is currently in negotiations with different companies for modernization of its Airforce.
Although the news are some weeks/months old, the moroccan government shows great interest for the F-15 Strike Eagle.
The F-15 could be used as replacement for the Dassault Mirrage F1. At this time there are no planned orders or intensions.
Also it was reported that the moroccan government wants to order the F-35A in the future which would make it the first african operator of this type.
The F-35A could be a reaction to the order of 14x Su-57 which was placed by Algeria in the past.
For morocco it is very important to improve its Airforce as a balance to the algerian airforce.
A few weeks ago the pentagon allowed the export of the first Patriot Defense System to morocco.
In the past it was also mentioned that transport helicopters and military freighters need to be upgraded and modernized, too.
