I removed the exclusion for LIRE and that fixed the problem. The exclude range is too large. It should only exclude objects in the area of the MAIW airport LIRE. Look at the range of the exclude file. LIRE is about 30 miles SW of Rome.

This also seems to affect LIRA, Rome Ciampino, I wondered what had happened to the scenery there, never made the connection to the Tornados package.

Jerel, do I understand that you have revised the exclude file? Any chance of a copy of your revised file please?

I can go to LIRE and make an exclude file for that airport. I was hoping MAIW would post a new exclude here but I can do that OR give your e-mail address and I will send it to you.

Like I said, I don't have this package installed so I can't speak with authority to how it looks, etc... not sure why the exclude would include an airport some 30 miles away but I might get a look at it later today.

Hello from Italy.

For the first time in my FS life, I suggest you not to use something produced by MAIW!!!

For that package I don't use the AFCADs of MAIW, just because I've installed a very nice scenery of LIRE from Enzo Calcagni http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=80270

You can also download a wonderful scenery of LIRF Fiumicino coming from ISD Project.

One of the best freeware scenery ever built.

Ciao

Hi, downloaded this package today, have a wee problem in that the zip file only contains an "enc" file, there is no Installer?

PS. Downloaded twice, same result.

Hi Brian!

This package (as all packages starting with "woamil") needs to be installed with the World of AI installer which you'll find on their website.

The first MAIW packages were released in co-operation with WoAI.

Hope this helps,

Greg

Message to the staff!
After AVSIM hack the file woamil5.zip was probably corrupted.
From few days AVSIM doesn't show anymore corrupted files, and we all can understand why.
I know MAIW lets download this package from our maiw's site.
It was a conservative choice to be able the community to download packages without depends from anybody!
But, I suggest to re-load that file on AVSIM too!
I made this operation with one of my files (Ghedi, tornado air base :D ), and AVSIM was very glad of this.
What do you think about?
It could be a good occasion to rebuild the file with the "new" self-extractor software.
Cheers

Hi Cianofranc,
There is a plan to replace all the old WoAI packages. This will take some time, as for some reason people still like us to make new stuff  .
Some of the packages will be easy to replace, some will take longer. We can't say how long it will take for each one to take. Sorry.

Don't worry Steve!
I know what MAIW do for our community, and I send my big "thank you" for that.
Mine was a suggestion only, due to the fact that I reloaded (with success) a old scenery of mine (LIPL).
In two days it was downloaded up to 300 times!
Italian package is available on MAIW site. So anyone interested can download it very easy.
Installer software is easy to find too!
but, reload it on AVSIM could be a rapid and efficient action, that take few minutes only.
But, I repeat, it's a suggestion only, not a (pedant) request! :)
Thank you very much for all you and your group make for us every day!
Luciano

I started making a list of the packages that needed to be replaced on AVSIM. It was about 70% of all the packages we released prior to the interruption at AVSIM. That's nearly one hundred packages!

So to say the least, it's not a quick and efficient operation from our standpoint. We have to approach it methodically and with a plan which we haven't had time to get around to just yet.

We'll get it done eventually, but it's not a top priority since ALL MAIW and MAIW/WOAI packages are available here.

We stopped counting download numbers when we hit 100,000.....
