Re: JYAI UH-1 Huey
Just from looking at the Wikipedia article on the UH-1, there will be a lot to tinker with!
And I was wrong about the UH-1F, it was not developed from the UH-1D, but from the UH-1B.
About armament fits: I think I recall (ailing memory again) a clumsy, box-like rocket launcher holding 20 2.75" rockets on each side (maybe this was only on the -1B), two 7.62 mm M-60 machineguns in remotely-controlled mountings on each side, and one 7.62 mm rotary Minigun (M-130?) in the same mountings on each side.

Re: JYAI UH-1 Huey
As I said in my last post - Next job is to tackle the USAF UH-1Ns and TH-1Hs that are currently in (USAF) service. I finished the modelling today and I'm just starting on the texture mapping and painting.

Re: JYAI UH-1 Huey
So we need a surfboard mod now!
Textures on the WIP model add so much, if only there was a helo sound mod for the Huey blade slap/thump. As Jorgen added, mainly the B/C had the variety of armament options to include rocket pods, guns, and the grenade launcher on the nose. For the D/H, just a clean and slick (M60 mounted) would cover most for AI.

Re: JYAI UH-1 Huey
There are a few Huey soundsets out there, though the better ones seem to be payware.
Re: JYAI UH-1 Huey
Thank you again John for the time and effort put into building Hueys.
This might be old news for those who have been around AI traffic communities, but Scramble.nl has quite a repository to search for current and past aircraft registration and owner/operator data.

Re: JYAI UH-1 Huey
FE Warren has two heliports now. The UH-1's are at the main part of the base. The Wyoming ARNG moved their HH-60's from CYS to a facility on FE Warren northwest of the main base.

Re: JYAI UH-1 Huey
Thank you all for your kind feedback.
I think I have the models now that I was intending to make from the outset. In addition to the single engine “D” and “H” variants that I illustrated earlier, I have added some twin engine “N” variants plus the TH-1H USAF training Huey, which has the single engine, but the “N” nose.
This is one of the TH-1Hs from the 23rd FTS at Fort Rucker, Alabama (22 helicopters), parked with a UH-1N used by the 459th Airlift Squadron at Yokota, Japan (4 helicopters):
This is the UH-1N in European 1 camouflage used to project the USAF missile sites (21 helicopters in total) and for search and rescue operations by the 512 RQS at Kirtland AFB ( 9 helicopters). I will also provide a model without the FLIR to give greater potential for anyone who wants to paint other examples:
To conclude the package, this is one of 25 UH-1Ns used by the 1st HS at Joint Base Andrews for VIP emergency evacuation and other duties:
The LODs are all done, but I haven’t yet numbered up the aircraft, which is why variations in the screen shots are showing the same serial number.
A few airborne shots:
Before I number up the aircraft, I’m going to take another look at available scenery and see if I can produce a few helicopter AFCAD overlays so we can give the Huey’s a home. I don’t want to get bogged down on this, but I’ll try and get some examples active.

Amazing !!!!
Re: JYAI UH-1 Huey
Not asking you you make another version John, but I'm just wondering if one of your 2 engine models will be an adequate surrogate for the RCAF CH146 Griffon.
