Thank you for the package! Now was it my imagination? Did I see a fightertown USA scenery on the MAIW homepage?

I found a small mistake when installing the Citations: the sequence of the entries is [fltsim.0], [fltsim.2], [fltsim.3] instead of [fltsim.0], [fltsim.1], [fltsim.2].
This way only the [fltsim.0] aircraft will be visible!

In the F/A18 package [fltsim.60] & [fltsim.61] error on ACA with models of FS36375_C_JDAM.

Nice package to start off the weekend with :D

Even if it did mean I had to rummage through my existing install in order to get rid pre-existing traffic

Yes but neither this or the Top Gun package has any custom scenery.
Step 4) Use MAIW Miramar NAS Scenery

The scenery is in the top gun package, as per the read me file : Hope this helps!!

The Installer will already have installed a folder called ìMAIW Miramar NASî in your ìFlight Simulator 9/Addon Scenery" directory. This folder contains all the scenery and exclude files for this enhanced Miramar NAS scenery. To enable this scenery, start FS9 and go to the scenery library in settings, select "ADD AREA" and then select the path of the folder "Flight Simulator 9/Addon Scenery/MAIW Miramar NAS".

The boneyard at KDMA, yes I'm shedding a tear too!

Totally makes my day to pop on the site and see a new package, and a Naval Aviation one at that! I just got the VMFAT-101 up and going from Graham last month, oh well.

Here's the two Aircraft.cfg files that have the fixes in them if you don't want to fix it yourself or download the whole package again.

New version is uploaded and corrected.

sorry for the errors guys  concerning scenery, non was included for this package, but if users want to use the retro Miramar scenery, I'll see if I can update the AFCAD for that scenery as soon as possible so the modern squadrons will park correctly and add the missing runway.

Thanks so much for the new base, but this does force me to make the hardest decision of my life: Top Gun, or Modern Miramar. :-?

I would second that motion since the screen shots hint that the package is used with the scenery...

Thanks for the help with finding the scenery. I like to keep my AI up to date so I never did insrall the Top Gun package. I did not think there was scenery in that package.

You can use the old Top Gun scenery with this package no problem. The new Miramar afcad visually doesn't look that great with the scenery but the actual scenery objects themselves are not an issue with the new package. Just watch out for Maverick on his crotch rocket! :smt003
