Most wanted AI aircraft poll resetted

Post by gsnde »

After many of the aircraft in the last poll have been realized in the mean time I have removed those. I also removed those where I have an idea that they could be in the making.

Since the list was very short afterwards I have added some new and now you can vote again.

The winners of the last poll have been (counts / percentage):

1. Boeing B-52 Stratofortress........306........11.65%........(no surprise)
2. Fiat G.91 Gina......................206.........7.84%........
3. Convair B-36 Peacemaker.........166..........6.32%........(nice surprise, and as far as I can tell not pushed)
4. Boeing V-22 Osprey.................154..........5.86%........(no surprise)
...
6. Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird.........135..........5.14%........(I swear I did not vote more than 3 times :smt003)

Up the list by multi-voting. Although I won't invest time to prevent it, I can still tell from the logs :smt002

Oh . . . I thought you were slyly referring to the -36's method of propulsion.

I could not resist this perfectly fitting double meaning. And aside from that ... what a great aircraft she would make in the FS skies (again true in every respect 8) )

I heartily agree. Though I'd have to get a larger monitor. Those were huge. I remember their distinct sound when they would take off from Biggs AFB when I was a kid.

Not at all :smt001

It is just a place were user can vote what they like to see - and if any developer has no idea what to do (never happens) he might take a looksie....

I have never even heard a sniff of those being thought about beyond the B52 and I don't think that one will be done.

A long long time ago I think someone started a V22, but couldn't get it to work right.

Dan & Matt,

I developed initial prototype AI FDE's for both an AI B-52 and V-22 before the developers mothballed those projects. I thought they were both coming along quite well at the time, but then I am not an AI model developer.
