Dale,

Those lights can only be changed if they are controlled by the [Lights] section of the aircraft.cfg file. If those lights are built into the model itself you are stuck with them.

    Dale,

The lights can be controlled either way whether the model is flyable or AI. It is up to the designer of the model how he wants the lights controlled. Sometimes some of the lights are controlled by the [Lights] section of the aircraft.cfg file and some are designed into the model. Look in the aircraft.cfg file for the model of interest and see if there is a [Lights] section. If there is you can can substitute different lights for whatever lights are listed there.

      Hi Mike,

Ye there is a lights section and at the end of each line it names the effect that is being used. For a little test I changed them for the default cessna lights but when I opened up the sim the aircraft lights did not show up???
