Just curious guys if these Kadena paints replace anything? I looked at the Kadena models that were previously released and these tails don't match any of those so I'm guessing this isn't a one for one swap, right?

These are for the MAIW KC-135R model, so they are new paints. Anything you might have seen prior would have been on a different KC-135R model, probably the PAI version.

Hasn't the PAI model been the only one in existence before the MAIW one?

If you are talking about the tail numbers, there is a very good chance that they have in fact changed since the PAI KC-135 repaints were done. The entire KC-135 fleet underwent the block 40 upgrade, which wrapped up last year. The jets were completely stripped down and rewired, which took several months. So, I think some of the units who sent bird here got different ones back because of this.
