Screen Video Capture and Video Editing Software

With video editing becoming more popular I thought I'd ask what people like to use to make there vids for Youtube presentations.
Of course I'm not just speaking freeware or trial programs like 'Fraps ' that captures screen video, etc.
Luckily for me, I have Final Cut Pro X on my Mac Pro computer but alas, I don't know much about how to use it and the fact that I have to take the video across to the Mac from my PC is a pain in the bum.
I've been reviewing a lot of PC based prgrams for video editing and so far Director Suite 2 by Cyberlink http://www.cyberlink.com/products/direc ... en_AU.html looks highly rated for ease of use with lots of toys and tricks. Is anybody familar with this program???
May be you'd like to share you thoughts on what you use and why you like it.
