There isn't a good AFCAD for Laarbruch (ETUL) - as it was in the 70s and 80s.

There's an AFCAD with loads of parking - but no buildings of any sort.
There's also an AFCAD of the base in 1990 - but there's no parking.

It would be a great home for Buccaneers.

Likewise, Bruggen needs four squadrons of Jaguars.

Dave,

I did Laarbruch Sceneries. 1 for the Tornado and and the other for the Canberra era (sans HAS).

PM me your email address and I'll send them both to you.

In fact you can download the Canberra Era from here;

I seem to be short a trees library.

I had believed that I had all the required libraries.

Any clues?

Checked, and definitely got it. Which of the Laarbruch BGLs has the trees?

Dave,

I think it might be Matts Trees Vol. IV that you're missing.

Available at Avsim;

Dave, the fact that you can see the trees means that its not a bgl issue. If it was a bgl issue you would not see the trees.
The problem is that you are missing the texture for those trees. A quick check of the czech lib revealed that the texture that those tres use is TREESSU_SP.BMP.
Check to see if you have that installed, if not copy it over from the czech package that you got the lib from.

The problem isn't that file. I do have it all over the place, and it's in the appropriate texture folder for the calling BGL.
It's also in a few global texture folders - just to be sure.

Dave for those large trees, I used;

Czech Objects Library 012.bgl
Czech Objects Library 019.bgl
Czech Objects Library 022.bgl

Hope this helps.

Might work, I always put texture copies into the main FS9 texture folder which often sorts it out

Aha! In the Czech airfields texture folder I found three other tree bitmaps.
I spread them around a bit and:

Just right for Buccaneers and Canberras.

Thanks,
Dave

To try and help me understand more about this scenery stuff, how did you work out the BMP associated with the lib?

There is a nifty little tool that you can use to load a bgl and then produce a report which will show all the required textures for that bgl. It's official name is ModelConverterX but will often get shortened to MCX. When you load a scenery lib you can then select the 'Object report' icon on the first line of the toolbar and it will create and save a report in html which will list all the textures required by the bgl.

It's everything I could have hoped for, and will stand alongside Gutersloh, Bruggen and Wildenrath.

Thanks again.
