by MIKE JG
Based on the modeling work originally started by Nick Black, the team of Miljan Korac and Michael MacIntyre have finished off this beautiful SA330B Puma AI model complete with updated helicopter takeoff and landing animations. The model comes with 6 different model variations and over 80 colorful aircraft textures.

A basic set of flight plans has been included in the release courtesy of Dan Reeves to help you get the model flying in FS2004.

You will need to supply your own AFCAD or ADE file for use with this fantastic model.

In case people are after some scenery for these birds, there's a pretty good scenery for Le Luc/Le Cannet (LFMC) available here: http://www.vf-air.com/down.htm (scroll down or search for LFMC). You'll need to update the AFCAD for it though, as the parking radii are too small for the Puma.

According to Mirage4fs, there was some scenery available for Étain-Rouvres (LFQE), but the site it was hosted on has gone belly up :(

Don't know if this is the same scenery for Etain-Rouvres that RKE was talking about - but this one will fit the bill for the moment; just need to get rid of those statics....

:(
For those of the easily confused amongst us, what would be a good figure for the parking slots?

11m works for me. You'll probably have to add the proper parking codes as well.

Thanks for that, always been a confusing issue for myself.

Hi All,
A very nice addition to military skies, thanks to Miljan and Nick.
The aircraft cfg should be updated for the Armee de l'Air at Cazaux which should be
EH 01.067 "Pyrenees" not EH 02.067 which disbanded 2004 and at Cayenne-Rochambeau which should be ET 00.068 "Antilles-Guyane" not EH 02.068.
Regards and a happy new year.
Steve

Steve,
I think that ET00.068 might be EHOM00.068 but might be worth double checking.

Hi Steve,
This is a translated section from a French Goverment website where I located the info:
In Guyana, the redeployment of aerial device has resulted in the creation of the transport squadron "Antilles-Guyane" (ET 00 068) on the BA 367 Cayenne - Rochambeau. This was formalized July 25, 2012 by Air Marshal William Jelly air force commander. It also marked the dissolution of the helicopter squadron overseas (Ehom) 00068 "Guyana" and the change of command from Lt. Col. Bernard Tardy and Lieutenant Colonel Christophe Czekala, first commander of the ET 68 . The device in Guyana has been strengthened, with the home fifth Puma and three aircraft Casa previously stationed on BA Lamentin.
Regards,
Steve

I'm actually recreating a FS9 ADE file of LFQE. It'll be finished for the end of this week-end.

Thanks, Steve. That would explain the difference between my info and yours. Yours was more up to date.

The South African Air Force made use of the SA330 before replacing them with the Denel Oryx. In an attempt not to get into trouble I would like to know if there would be any objection if I were to make SAAF liveries for this awesome helicopter.

Thank You
