Anyone got a scenery object of the SR-71 shed used at Mildenhall or pics and dimensions so I could make one?

Here are pics of it at mildenhall in front of its hangar, it was beige with a brown stripe through it. Hangar 538. The pics suck the door was out of frame on the left, I will see if I can get some other pics. Hope that helps man.

Thanks Dan, I like flat roofs :smt002 Any ideas of the dimensions, best guess would do. Was the DET 4 banner only there for public days? Also where was it located? I've attached a photo.

The SR's were housed in these sheds on the south side

These sheds are the same as the ones at Beale AFB ...

Next question is, are they modelled in the MAIW scenery. Don't want to fire up FS9 to see (lazy day!!)

Had dig on Google and found these. Bit confused as the SLED is outside two types of hanger.

If I am correct, on the show days, the 'bird was kept outside of the NAF hangar (one in the picture with banner), as the flyers were parked mainly on the south side of the airfield, to which obviously, the public had no access.

According to GE, the sheds pointed out by Tony are 175' x 119' (total dimensions)

Yep just found them. I now have my Pilots SR-71 parked outside ready to do a recon run behind the Iron Curtain. Got the route they used until they went "black" after then its anyone's guess

Dan: You haven't missed it, this project is almost finished. Only the textures and some minor stuff to complete.

Have you removed the ground equipment at this ramp? I've got starter units and USAF van there. what version of EGUN are you using?

It's the Mildenhall V2 from MAIW, but with some alterations from my side. I removed the starter units and some other equipment. I also changed some parking spots around the field.

That explains it. I'll do the same, bit difficult taxiing the SR and avoiding ground equipment!

Can you send me a copy of the flight plan you are using for your iron curtain recon or tell me where I can get those routes? I am also interested in the Okinawa routes, and beale training routes if anyone knows where to find them.

Thanks!

The route I'm using is loosely based on the Brian Shule books. Also the Swedish Air Force used to track them as they flew over the Baltic. Haven't got details of any other I'm afraid.

EDIT The Beale training flight was a full circuit of North America. Hope that helps. Also my Iron Curtain FP is in FSNavigator format.
