KPMD for Menno's SR71 and XB70

The default KPMD was fraught with errors and Menno's SR71's couldn't possibly park where they were. So I decided to rectify that somewhat .I've decided to replicate PMD circa 1963 as the place at that time was a beehive of activity . F-100, F-102,F-106, F-104 , "Shapes" , RA-5C .C-47 etc., 2 reworked B-52, XB70 , F-101, and early B1,s . Interesting the several of the hangers have gone through 3 or 4 different owners since 1960
Pic #1 shows the airfield from the NNW . Image

Building 295 Avionics etc. work on B1's were done here and the XB70 and Space Shuttle were built in the hanger next door to this (Building 294).

Looking good, time for me to finish the Valkyrie.

FYI, my model uses a parking spot with a 33 mtr radius in FS9

I'm getting to the end of this VERY long journey and it's almost a wrap . Lotsa items that I'm not completely happy with but ~~~~~~~~ . Crashed ADE 3 times and ADE + FS9 twice trying to be smart and using my own homemade ramp lighting .fx . Don't get me wrong ADE is a brilliant stable program as is SBuilder once one gets used to it .Frame rates seem to stay @ 24.9FPS except for the occasional drop to 24.6

F##king thing is finished  The greatest challenge was learning all the necessary skills that go along with creating airfields for FS.I had a lot of help along the way from a few patient folk .Thank's Menno ,Ed, Martin, John,John ,John and Mike .Just as big a challenge for me was accepting that there is some level of imperfection . One just has to realize when less is more .KPMD tobe "perfect" would need about 20,000 addons such as a several hundred garbage containers etc, ,and Joshua trees all over the infield
Will be upon Avsim/Flightsim soon

Did I actually post this 15 looooong dys ago ! PMD needed much grooming and with the generous help of Ed Haveman I finally finished the project . Next to do is KPMD circa 1970's and 80's which needs this critter (NOT !!) It's the Shuttle docking crane which was used move and place the Space shuttle on the special purpose B747 .

KPMD will be a little while longer . I uploaded to Avsim and Flightsim yesterday . Long story short Between MS Update shutting my PC
down and a MAJOR IS3 crash some files were corrupted and 2 actually DISAF###KINGPEARED Recycled some of the files . and now re doing the VTPP files and they should be done today . After that I'll be ripping IS3 out and will re-install . THEN I'll take a break for a few daize . ADE9 has been very stable .Sbuilder more or less but IS3 is good but VERY Quarky . Sorry for the delay folks .Avsim and Flightsim were very helpful in stopping the upload .
