Military AI Works

Hi all,

here are some impressions of the former German Army Airfield Mendig (ETHM). I'd like to keep it alive in the Sim World. The fantastic scenery was made by Hartmut Grundt, it looks exactly as i remeber it. Thx for that. I only modified it a bit by adding some parkings and removing some static aircrafts to get more ai traffic. BTW i would like to thank all you flightsim enthusiasts creating all the sceneries, aircrafts, ai aircrafts, fp's etc so that we all can have so much fun flying around the world.

Nice shots, I've got Rory K's (RIP) H-53s in the sim. Spent 2011-12 with the then HEER CH-53s at Mazar E Sharif.

Where did you find the AI CH-53 ? And the german repaints ? I'm interested about them

Its a flyable FS9 model from Rory Kelly, non-AI but place a few in using the stremme_glider airfile, not too bad on framerates. He made several versions: CH53D,CH53E,MH53E,MH53J. I got my HEER repaints from a Camp Marmal scenery package.

Victory103 is right. The CH-53 (also GAF Tornados and C-160) are included in the OAMS-Scenery by Volker Gießübel. You can find it here: http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1 ... &filename=

In the included pdf-file Mike Pearson is mentioned as the author of the model, modified for AI by Holger Sandmann:

I don't know if this is right. Holger Sandmann modified a lot of flyable Helis for AI created by Hovercontrol.

A dedicated CH53 AI model is on its way
Different versions are being made, including the CH53G and GS.
For the moment I am working on the vertical take off and landing.
