Ever since I had to reinstall Windows onto this computer and reload all of my programs like Paint Shop Pro 7, I cannot for the life of me get the layer pallette in PSP7 to stay open. I think there is supposed to be a small icon in the upper right hand corner of the layer pallette that you can click that will lock it open.

This is extremely frustrating because I have to constantly re-open the layer pallette, which with 30+ layers to deal with is completely maddening.

Anyone know how to fix this issue??

I have a later version, by Corel. The keyboard shortcut is F8.

Third post down has a reg update in it.
You might want to try updating the first line from 'REGEDIT 4' to 'Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00'.

If you don't trust it you can always use that file to check to see what is already in the registry there and manually update the entries.
