NAS Patuxent River

This is what I have been working on during the last weeks:

An update for the NAS Patuxent River package from 2011 to bring it up to date representing the 2015/2016 timeframe.

Originally started in early 2015 to get a few F-35s flying around Pax River this developed into a complete overhaul of the scenery as well a a lot of additional AI traffic with new AI models mainly contributed by John Young.
I had abondened the project in late 2015 as my interest shifted towards other things but when John came up with his new P-8 Poseidon models I restarted work and just finished it in the last days.

Beside the F-35s there will be MQ-4C Tritons, E-2 Hawkeyes, MV-22 Ospreys and of course the Seahawks and Blackhawks as well as a variety of visiting traffic simulating real life events.

The airfield now consists of several AFCAD files to allow realistic AI traffic operations for the huge variety of different aircraft types.

I am currently writing the manual and the complete package should be available soon.

I already showed many previews of my F-35 repaints in this thread: http://www.militaryaiworks.com/forums/18/15935

I recoded and rearranged most of the parking spots to make the AI aircraft park separated by aircraft type

Definitely wow-worthy. I have a copy of the scenery that I've been testing with the Poseidons, so I've seen the detail that Hartwig has packed into it.

Looks real nice. Is this a totally new scenery? Or a updated of John Stinstrom's scenery?

It is an update of the scenery in the MAIW NAS Patuxent River package:
- reworked AFCAD
- additional AFCAD files for the RQ-4Cs, the Ospreys and the Seahawks,
- a reworked airport background polygon
- additional objects from the MAIW object libraries

Plus a lot of new repaints and traffic files
