Hi, have started to get adverts on this site, anyone know how to stop them please!

I updated the plugin yesterday to the latest version. Adverts should be switched off but I'll check again.

Alright, it doesn't look good...

It seems that with the latest plugin version, the site owner is no longer able to turn advertising off except with a subscription. The cheapest sub is $5 per month.

This change of direction is unfortunate, as Tapatalk initially started as a free app and plugin but it seems they have now changed their business model. I'm not going to pay $60 a year just to turn ads off in Tapatalk as our donations barely cover the server expenses at the moment. At the same time, we don't have enough Tapatalk users to even make any money from their advertising. Everybody loses.

You can still make the personal choice not to see any ads by the way by subsribing to the (paid) VIP version of the Tapatalk app, but at the moment I'm wondering if I should stop supporting Tapatalk altoghether...

Please don't stop Tapatalk support, Greg.

Does anybody else find that tapatalk is so far behind realtime? I find that quite often I will get notifications of posts up to a day late.

OK so its just me. The amount of times I get notifications of posts that I read on my PC hours ago is unreal.

This one is as a reply to the notification here....
Comes in sync both on Android mobile and Apple iPad

Weird. None of these posts has come in. The only one in this thread is Brian's original post. I even went in and did a manual refresh but nothing changed. Very frustrating.

Do you have the paid version, Steve? I bought it right from the start when I learned about Tapatalk years ago.

No, Martin. I do not pay for anything on my phone or tablet, but if Brian gets it OK then it has to be something else. If I relied on it more then I would really look into it but as I more or less disregard it I shall not get to worried about it. The one thing I find useful is the pm notification and they tend to come through a lot quicker. I had one this a.m.
