Problems with IE

Post by bismarck »

Hi Greg and all, starting from yesterday evening, I'm experiencing some problems on my laptop, using IE (11.0.9600.18816)
1) I don't see anymore the MAIW Team Forum.
2) In every forum I enter, there are a lot of Topics marked in red, even if I read them all. Once I click on "Mark topics read", all become grey but when I enter again, I have the same problem.
3) I don't have anymore the button " New Topic" and the function "Search this Forum" in any forum I enter.

I've tried to clear cache, history and so on but nothing change.
Logout and login, nothing

With Chrome all is fine, as all is fine using iPhone or tablet or from another PC using IE...

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance, Giorgio

That's definitely sounds like a caching problem.

Try resetting IE to the default settings. Click on the cog symbol and then I believe it's "Internet Options" and then the "Advanced Settings" tab or something similar.

Greg, if you mean:
Internet Option -> Advanced -> Reset (resets Internet Explorer's setting to their default condition)
it doesn't work...

It happened to you again! What ever it is that you are doing I suggest that you stop it.

Maybe Greg that this is a useful tip that we should put somewhere safe.

A corrupt cookie doesn't explain the missing New Topic and Search Forum buttons since their display isn't related to login sessions... but whatever works. :)
