AI Bell 206 JetRanger source

Hi everyone,

A while back, I was working on an AI version of Owen Hewitt's Bell 206, but my bigger projects and real world has taken over finishing the project. Now I know most folks would like an AI 206 for their hangars, so I am offering the sources/basic crude textures to anyone here wishing to finish it off. The model as it currently stands has 8,560 out of the original 30,000+ polygons, but has no LODs. If anyone is interested, I can package up what I have and link it here. The sources require 3DS Max9 and above or Gmax. What do you guys think?

Hi everyone,

Here is the source file for the AI Bell 206 in it's current state, in gmax and 3DS Max 9+ format. Bear in mind that there are no LODs, textures are crude and can be remapped, no animations, basically nothing. I don't have time to finish this project off like I wanted due to other commitments with other flyable projects including a revamped Bell 206 for FSX. If anything does come out of this, I just request 2 things. 1.) Credit must be given to Owen Hewitt as he is the designer of the original 206 for FS9 and me of course :P 2.) I would like to place any final results on my website (http://www.eaglerotorcraftsimulations.com)

I have other tidbits/sources for the 206 I can share. Let me know and I'll hook you guys up.

I'll give it a wee nudge, and add some animation... and see where it takes us :)

I know I haven't posted in a while, I once got the FS2004 default Bell206 working as an AI, this was years ago and it flew like a Cessna lol.
I tried it again on the FSX model, but it just sat there, I thought maybe it was the FSX model so I put the FS2004 AI version in and that too just sat there.
I played about with Owen Hewitt's version and that was the same, then I found this thread, so forgive my ignorance, I did a search in the download library thinking it might be there, so how far along are you with this model, or if it is finished can it be downloaded somewhere?
