Mountain Out of a Molehill

I just wanted to do two Lakota repaints, then make up a simple flight plan. Found one of the places I chose didn't have any parking. A helo AFD was made. So after watching the UH-72 land, here comes a C-17 and no place for it. Am still working on my "molehill" . . . . two additional AFDs, some basic scenery to go yet. Will upload as soon as the "mountain" is high enough. Guess where ?

Is the paint current on the Lakota in the pics?

I believe so, according to Scramble and the unit's Facebook page. Airport in the above pics is not the home base for the pictured UH-72.

Looks like Wheeler-Sack AAF at Ft. Drum, NY.

I've also been climbing that "mountain" in FS9.

Yep. Wheeler-Sack AAF. As busy as that place is I was surprised that no one had done it yet.
Have provided parking for the 1-10Avn AH-64s, 2-10Avn and 3-10Avn H-60s.
Hopefully when I upload the AFD someone will make up some flight plans for the above helos.
Parking for visiting C-5, C-17, C-130, a C-31, a P-3 and an RC-135, also room for a few charter airliners (troop transports).
Every time I go there now I find a new visitor. Adding some MAIW hangars, line equipment, etc.

The UH-72 is one of two from KSWF. Plans and AFD for them was the "molehill".

Yes, my rendition of GTB also started as part of a molehill as I needed place to send the F-16s (and now Reapers) out of SYR. The base is very active and growing, the stock scenery doesn't do it justice.

Looks good so far Joe and I can help in the FP department if I can find the Drum local flying rules covering various ranges and LZs. Ours here at Ft. Hood is open source and "click's" FS9 version is spot on.

Thanks, Chris ! I sorta figured the resident Army Aviation member might assist. :)

I've run into a snag, though. While working on KGTB in FSX (for the scenery) I get a CTD about 10 seconds after you enter a flight.
And it doesn't matter where (location in the world) you start. I've stripped my FSX of almost every UI, AI, scenery, addon. Restored the FSX.cfg, thinned out the dll.xml. Finally found that if I removed FSUIPC every thing works (except what needs FSUIPC to function) :!: :?: Restored FSX back to original with all addons, etc. and no FSUIPC - no CTDs. I've removed and reinstalled FSUIPC and still CTDs. I've removed and installed the very same FSUIPC from my P3D and no CTDs with P3 :!: :?:

I'm stumped. Maybe someone will read this and have a clue.

Got my FSX working finally. Here's KGTB for FSX. All that's needed is some one to do the flight plans for the three or four units of -64s and -60s based there. I have the AFD set up for parkings. Anybody interested in doing the flight plans ?
