Aircraft Conversion Preview

Post by Greg »

We are going to make P3Dv4 users very happy soon with new converted aircraft models in FSX and/or P3Dv4 native format. As always we can't give you an exact release date, but it's not going to take much longer now for the next models to appear in our hangar.

Stay tuned!

See the briefing

The last weeks were a period of learning, doing, re-learning and re-doing. Now things start being fruitful. Here you see Henks conversion of Mike's B-52, Nick's Harrier and Menno's SR-71 and XB-70.

Plus Tony's conversion of Pascal's C-5 which has made a visit to Greg and is taking off Brussels on her way back home.

I feel the way I used to feel as a kid on Christmas Eve - can't wait to see all the goodies!!! LOL This is awesome guys - it's going to put new life into my sim experience as I've gravitated almost entirely to flying military aircraft in the past year but the limited number of appropriate AI models has been an issue....

OMG!!!!!!! This is awesome. I might as well stop installing packages that have models already converted and piecing them together because it looks like I will be deleting them soon! Thank you!!!

Looking forward to building my military AI in P3D! I have some military AI in P3D, but no where near what I had in FS9. Will helicopters eventually get updated for P3D? Specifically the Chinook. I have two or three Blackhawk packages that also includes the Chinook.

Gentlemen, please.
Each conversion takes a lot of work. I understand your enthusiasm but please try not to put pressure on the precious resources that we have - i.e. people that can convert the aircraft successfully.

A parade and lots of flag waving after a release is much more likely to encourage them and make them feel appreciated than requests for more. I feel sure that everything will get done in time, but it will take time.

Is that a actual F-2A/B model? Or the F-16 model painted to look like the F-2A/B?
