Guaging Interest?

I was thinking about creating a series of missions which would re-create various military engagements or major battles in the different wars. Does this sound like something that people would be interested in? Some of the ideas include the Berlin airdrop, Battle of Mogadishu (Black Hawk Down), D-Day, Vietnam battles, etc.
