A question about TNG's

I am fixing up the flightplans for the E-6B's and I am including TNG's at KTIK and KNHK. When making them what should the altitude be?

I always set them to be 020, but when they are under the control of the local ATC they will override what you set. So the 020 is more of an aid to me than anything else. You can set anything you like within reason.

I finished the flightplans and I wanted to post them here. What do you guys think of them? AC#12 and AC#9 I didn't change anything from the originals. All the other plans I changed locations and times.

I think that I should have clarified my statement about the TNGs.
I assumed that the aircraft were taking off to do circuits at that location, in which case what I said was correct.

However, if they are taking off to do approaches at another base then you set the leg to fly at the normal cruise altitude for that journey, which would depend on the distance between the two points. For example there is no point in setting FL350 for a leg of 50nm as you would never get near that height.

Thanks. I will look up the distances between those airports for aircraft #9 and adjust the altitude accordingly.

AIFP will give you the distance and time required for the aircraft to fly a particular leg.

What are reasons having numbered TNG's?

They are not numbered. The numbers seemingly joined to 'TNG' are in fact the day of the week, exactly the same as non-TNG legs.

No problem it is easy to think that until you really start to meddle in plans yourself.
