AI following sloped runways - a breakthrough?

Post by Manschy »

Hi all,

just found this over there at AVSIM. Sounds too good to be real but seems to be real:

https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/5569 ... ys-in-p3d/

So does this mean I could try to design slope moderate runways (like they were on most of the bases) and all MAIW AIs will follow them?
OMG....
Regards, Manfred.

Maybe the biggest boon for us will be the ability to use ski jumps off carriers.

It should, in theory, be doable. Of course, if you look too close, you'll probably see the nosegear dive into the surface a fair bit, but it's better than nothing.
