The VT ANG's first two F-35A's, 17-5265 and 17-5266, arrived at Burlington IAP (KBTV) on Thursday, 9-19-2019. The VT ANG is scheduled to receive two more F-35A's a month for the next nine months for a total of twenty. The first VT ANG training sorties with the F-35A's will begin in October.

My parents were hiking in Vermont this week and saw them descending towards BTV. South Burlington must be besides itself.

Look great, get ready for the noise! I'm close to Luke AFB and with south flow, they are turning initial over my house. I can now tell the difference between the Vipers and F-35s.

Too bad the when I'm down in Phoenix next it's a holiday weekend.

The airport is completly modified for the F-35.
