France received the first of two KC-130Js, with the second one being delivered next year. This will be part of a joint French-German C-130J unit, with the Luftwaffe buying 3 C-130J-30s and 3 KC-130Js. This was mainly the result of Airbus having trouble with the A400M, which isn't certified for tanking helicopters yet.
