Thanks a lot

I was looking in the forum not in the Hangar.

So there is only the model of MAIB, right?

Is the CH-53K King Stallion also availible?

The only version that Menno has done so far is the S-65, which are the early H-53A-Ds. He has plans to do the S-80, next gen H-65E, but I don't know if he has done any work on it yet.

As for the H-65K, I hope - but at the time we last spoke about the H-53 the K wasn't even a confirmed version and so I can't say for sure.

On a connected note, does anybody know what the Sikorsky designation for the H-53K is? I haven't found it yet.

Just based on the H-60 series, from the start to current they have the "S-70" designation despite being different aircraft in terms of performance. Looking over the FAA model order, "H53S" still has the E and K grouped with "S-80". Hoping Menno's models make through the conversion process and the E/K gets built.

Thank you for responding to this thread.

May i ask if you are planning more versions or updates for the released models?

Concerning the K-version i red that

Germany, Israel, Japan are interested about this version.
The german government is about to make a decision between CH-47 Chinook and CH-53K for an order this year.

By "complete" Mins, do you mean that the CH-53E is complete with LODs, or "incomplete" without them?
