So I've been debating on whether or not I should get the C-130 X-perience addon developed by Captain Sim. Despite being over a decade old, It's still the latest and best C-130 you could get for FSX. However, the package is massively outdated with most of the included variants either retired or upgraded. I know that some of the latest J variants for the pack were made but are only for P3D V4. So I want to ask: Is this Herc still worth getting?

Having read your post a couple of times my gut feeling is that you already know the answer.
You don't seem really happy spending the money to fly retro aircraft. The answer is more favourable for you if you were on P3D.

Maybe the question should be are you planning to move to another sim in a relatively short time period? This has to be a factor when spending money on addons.
