Military AI Works

Hey Guys,

some days ago AIGTech has previewed the first videos of its new AI Helicopter Engine with a modified H145 SimObject by John Young. Since it takes some time to rework the models and the FDE and I have not the time to do all this changes myself while working on our software tools I will use this post to give you some insight on how the new FDE can be implemented to exisiting SimObjects and how new SimObjects should be designed to work with our new AI Engine. In the end it is up to the developer if he wants to develop a "AIG"-Version or will allow a conversion of it.

Note: I have not tested the new FDE with a BGL based AI Aircraft, so I have no clue how they will perform when using the traditional way of adding AI Traffic to the Sim.

• Rotor animations/visibility must be bind to "rotors_*"-Triggers
• Door animations must be triggerd by "door_0-3"

I will update the list in the next days with more information - need to finish a second conversion of a JYAI model first to test some more changes

@Admins: Any change to that you can update the OP? I would only update the Topic in our AIG Forum from time to time. After adding all infos I would give you a heads up so you can copy the Infos here?

Easy there Lucas. This is not about new helicopters, it's about amending the FDE on existing helicopters to work with upcoming AIGTech software.

I added the aircraft.cfg sections we used in our prototype conversion of the JYAI H145. In the next update I will add some more infos to the important sections
