Hello:

I downloaded from avsim for Beale AFB KBAB_j.zip has crashed a few times and not properly working with his scenery corrupted file somewhere. I cannot figure out what went wrong with this. Do you know anything experience crashed and what one filename was no good or something else?

Thanks,

Stuart

Stuart

The fact that the load sequence crashes at around 45% would suggest that the crash is caused by a land class or photo terrain.

Did you have any other versions of KBAB installed before? Look for any file (bgl) with Beale or KBAB in the name.

Do you have other photo scenery for California?

Now making the assumption that you have no other sceneries of KBAB installed you need to make sure that the Photo tile textures are installed in Scenery\world\texture only.

The file: Beale Photo_VTPH.bgl loads the photo terrain.

Hope this gets you closer to a solution.

I will move filename to the folder. The author did not do a good organize folder and readme instruction. I see the folder was include traffic it is not one whole folder install separate traffic files.

Thanks,

Stuart

For Cannon AFB

Solution?

In scenery\world\texture.

copy: desert_golf.bmp
paste the copy
rename the copy: desert_golf_poly.bmp

This solution was posted in the forum for Cannon AFB. Please use the Forum search under the "Quick Links" tab to find solutions.
