I guess the first question should be, Where did you put the traffic files?

look's like you have a rouge FS9 traffic file in your FSX scenery/world/scenery folder scan your scenery folder for FS9 files using AIFP.

Could you have any FS9-formatted traffic files in your FSX local scenery folders?

Do you have both traffic sliders at 100?

Yes indeed - the addon scenery folder and any other scenery folders you use for specific airfields.

If the AI aircraft and traffic files are in the right folders and AI is switched on at 100%, 98% of the time when AI doesn't show in FSX, it's down to an FS9 formatted traffic file. I've advised two people this week with the same problem and both found rogue files. It's such a common problem.

Yes indeed. Back in the mists of time MS decided to put all the traffic files in one location but any traffic file in any ACTIVE folder, i.e. active in the scenery.cfg folder, will actually load which means that they all have to converted to FSX standard or they will cause black holes in AI traffic.

The only way to be sure that you have caught them all is to use the 'Find FS9 Traffic Files' option under the 'Bulk Traffic' menu in AIFP to search all active folders in your scenery.cfg file.

Another side issue, is that traffic also includes any vehicle and boat traffic that you have installed.

If you have done that then we can discount the two most common causes of traffic not showing up, as John says.

I found it, it was the a traffic file in side cannon AFB scenery.
Its still a FSX traffic file but i guess Fsx is not liking that remove the file and the traffic is back.
Thank,s for the support guys

If you found it using that tool then it must be an FS9 standard traffic file, no matter what the name is.
If you wanted to keep it just use AIFP to convert it and ensure that the original is deleted.
