Hello

Post by MSoden1991 »

Good evening all,

My name is Matt Soden and I have recently got into flight planning and customising my flight sim.

I was taught by a good friend 'Dan Reeves' known on her as Shaggy22.

I really enjoy doing flight plans and will be moving onto other things very soon such as creating scenery's for airbases that are not listed.

Last year I shared with you my flight plans I did for my retro sim that I am working on with Shaggy22.

I am heading a retro project with Shaggy22 at present and can't wait to share it with you all.

Not sure if this is the correct thread to introduce myself, but I am happy to meet you all and enjoy being a part of this fantastic forum.

Bye for now!

Matt

I won't say too much but it's a good project we're doing. Some interesting repaints for sure, retro of course. It's also quite a bit bigger than I thought it would be :smt003

Welcome Matt. It's always good to see someone wants to add to the design capabilities here. You have a good Mentor in the form of Dan. I hope you have great fun and satisfaction from what you are doing.

I know that feeling Dan- it's always a bit bigger than I thought it would be!

I agree with that, it was something Dan started teaching me during the beginning of the pandemic, I was furloughed at work.

I enjoy doing these projects now and hope to become much more familiar and confident in them.
