Matt's Flight plans - Retro

Post by MSoden1991 »

I have decided to start a new topic off with my improved retro flight plans.

After doing more research and taking my time, I felt it was necessary to make this thread as there may of been 1 or 2 errors on my earlier flight plans.

After spending more time with Shaggy22 (Dan Reeves) I've learnt some better ways of doing these plans, so wanted to start fresh.

I have requested admin to remove my previous attachments on my other flight plan thread.

First up is some representative flight plans for the CT-133A repaints I saw uploaded here the other day.

These aircraft were based at Baden-Soelingen.

The BGL file included has been converted for Prepar3D, for FS9 users use the text documents provided.

Retro flight plans for the RAF Odiham Chinooks.

Improved plans.

Please note: The previous Chinook plans may come under a different name such as 'RAF Chinooks' so make sure to remove the older plan before adding this new one in.

Just in case anyone is interested, I had a bit of fun here.

As I am doing an 80's circa on my sim, I decided to create some flight plans for the Vulcan Display Flights.

Vulcan XL426 was based at RAF Waddington and was the main RAF Vulcan display aircraft until 1986 when it was sold off.

Vulcan XH558 started her displays in 1985 before taking over officially in 1986.

So I've put together a flight plan of Vulcan XH558 doing crew training at RAF Waddington where as Vulcan XL426 is participating at air shows which are RAF Mildenhall and RAF Greenham Common.

XL426 only flies on the weekend as if it's participating in an air show, there is also a night stop at each air show.
XH558 does crew training during the week and then returns to base.

The BGL file included has been converted for Prepar3D, for FS9 users use the text documents provided.

This was something I wanted to add for fun on my sim so I can see Vulcans flying about in the same circa!

I just thought I'd share it with you all.

Cheers
Matt
