mcx issues

hey guys. you may or may not have heard of david maltby. he has created many models for fsx and fs9. i am trying to convert his bac 111 my own p3d use. but i am having difficulties, i keep getting no permission to write in folder error messages. is there anyway i can solve this situation

Have you checked to see if the folder is read only?

You have said what the general issue is but not what the specific folder is, also whether the issue is with MCX or nothing can write to it - i.e. try to save a word doc there.
For anybody to be able to help you you have to give us the the exact folder name plus it's full path.

The reason is that each person's installation is personal so it could be one of a few things. All the relevant info has to be available to be able to help you.

It's also worth stating which version of MCX you're using. The latest 'stable' version, or the latest development version? Or some other? Arno doesn't make it easy to be certain which you have, but the version number and date will help.
