TrackIR looks to be working well! You'd have failed the ride for real - staying low level going towards a ridgeline which appears to have weather on it is a no-no. You should climb beforehand so you can see whether you'll get through and so that you have a low-level escape route if the cloud is too low rather than having to punch out of low level because you've entered cloud. And there were a couple of towns you crossed that would have had a genuine grievance at 'bloody Biggles having fun!' But it's a great demonstration of how good MSFS can be. I don't think the interior detail of the Just Flight Hawk matches the exterior quality; indeed it looks to me like they've used the same virtual cockpit as they made for P3D. But it's nice to see the old girl so nicely represented - it's 44 years since I started my Valley course on the T1.

Own both the JF Hawk and IFE T-45 for MSFS, forget to fly them jumping between P3Dv5 and DCS. I did do a US low level MTR in the Goshawk using the visual checkpoints which was spot on and more immersive then previous sim. Thanks for doing the break, so many 'Tube sim vloggers don't include that important and fun portion.

Thanks for the comments guys, the sim is really beautiful and I think the JF Hawk is spot on, I really like it. I'm not sure if they have any improvements internally to it but for me it's an absolute winner.

I take your point about how to fly, maybe I'll try and do one where I try and fly as per the real world, we'll soon watch me fly into the side of a mountain

In the meantime, a flight around Scotland. Really nice scenery up there.

Don't take me too seriously; it's 24 years since I last flew low-level as a military pilot! The subsequent 22 years as an airline button-pusher knocked any real airmanship out of me...

That's a pretty cool video, some very low flying there!

Thought, I'd give it a go:
