You like unmanned aircraft?!

I always thought you were going to Western to be a pilot not a gearhead!

Update -

Gear will be a representation going from pics, so it won't be 100% accurate.

Anyone know if it has flaps, and if so, where?

Kevin

I dont "think" it has flaps, I cant see them on any pics or any documents/videos.
It does have upper control surfaces as seen here

http://www.northropgrumman.com/unmanned ... hi_res.jpg

Landing shots here....No flaps in any of them

http://www.northropgrumman.com/unmanned ... _HIRES.jpg

I also watched all the videos on the NG site and no flaps, the only thing I noticed is that the the upper control surfaces come up at landing to slow the plane....

Hope this is enough? If u need more I will do some research!

Cheers

This looks good. I worked with the G Hawk during my last deployment and it is a very impressive airframe.

Jetmax

Am I correct in that the GH has no flaps, only overwing spoilers?
Its an amazing plane..........

I believe so. I only saw a couple of daytime landings but I do not remember any flaps. She just slowly and gracefully glided to a landing.

Well she flys, but needs work on the FDE.

Got the front gear door anim to do (pain with them being angled, grrr), then texture time.

Kev,

If you email me your great looking Global Hawk model, I'll see what I can do for tweaking its FDE for more realistic performance. :)

Will do Mike after a few more 'tweaks'.
Going to try a transparent strobe and nav light housing on the wings, then we can see if a light can put inside them.

As soon as I get the port wing housings done I'll email it to you.

We also have permission from the authors to use the Beale scenery :) .

Oh - Never realised how big this bugger is, I thought it was like a large RC plane lol.
