I was wondering if anyone was making an F-105? I'd love to see one......

I'm afraid not that I know of....and you know the rules "don't ask for anything" or you definatley won't get it. All of our staff are still very busy bringing you new packages.

Keep following the tutorials that Mike has been doing and you might gain the skills to do one yourself soon.

We would all like to see one. Trouble is so many planes, so few modellers. We have to allow these guys to make their own choices on what they make.
Therefore our policy is that we don't comment even if there is one in the works. These creative guys prefer the Wow! factor when its finished rather than 'When is xxx going to be ready?'.

Sorry about that, but if we ever get stuck for subjects you can be sure that we will ask for suggestions. :D

I wasn't asking the MAIW Staff, I was asking anyone in general.....maybe there was one in the works....

I have not heard of one, sorry, hence why I must confess that I resorted to the default mode of assuming that you meant by one of our modellers.

I should of been more specific....I understand the staff @ MAIW are busy bee's.....since it doesn't seem as though there is one in the works, I wonder how the Alphasim Freeware 105 would work?

Hmmm, should look good if you are able to graft a suitable AI fde on to it.

I guess it would depend on how many you were to have on a base and how powerful your m/c is. AlphaSim don't use LODs so if a model is 37k polys close up it is going to be 37k polys at 10nm.

Remind me not to ever use an AlphaSim product, ouch.

In fairness to them, it isn't an AI aircraft so they didn't design it to be performance friendly.

A Thud for one of the earlier CFS sims would work.
I've used many WW2 models as AI and some of them work quite well. The problem is you need to install them and then test them to make sure.

There is one in the Vietnam War Project-version0.9 at the Vietnamwar Project site. However, it looks like it's the Alphasim 105 .I believe they are still working on AI F/P's
