Thanks to everyone who contributed to this package.

For those of you who are using the freeware FSGenesis mesh for the US I made a flatten file for the whole airport area.
It sets the elevation to 265m and will thereby remove the ditches and sunken buildings in some parts of the scenery.

If anyone is interested just let me know as I can not attach it to this post.

Simply copy the file into the scenery folder of the Whiteman AFB scenery.

Everything looks AWESOME! The only issue I saw was, the B2 Bomber (AI) bouncing as it was taxiing...Then it just disappeared.

What were you observing it with, Traffic View Board by chance??

BTW, Martin Gossman has correctly pointed out that this is technically the third version for Whiteman AFB, the last one being released in 2007. IIRC we had to fix some errors in the initial release and we ended up back then with a "v2" of this package.

So v2 or v3, enjoy it and excuse our oversight. We're all getting old around here. :smt017

That B2, was/is from John Stinstrom's original Whiteman AFB release a couple year's back... just removing that Ai folder should do the trick.

I tested this package for Des and I noticed that for whatever reason, the AI at this base seemed more sensitive to being watched by TVB than at other locations.

For example, when you first load KSZL or 1SZL up, if you are using TVB, you may see the Apache's floating above the ground. Load up a slightly different time of the day and they are back on the ground like they should be.

Weird.

OK, the package is now correctly called and listed as version 3.

There have been no changes to the package except to rename it "V3". You need not download this latest version again if you got it during the first day it was available.

The only two AI folders I found referring to the B2 was \Aircraft\AI B-2 (for FS98, by Captain Slug) & \Aircraft\MAIW_NBAI_B2A_Spirit Whiteman AFB. So I removed the \Aircraft\AI B-2 folder...

Another fine piece of work from MAIW... thanks to all for sharing your work... now I hope you lot can convinces Nick Black to continue with his Ai helicopter FDE... those A64's, the way they lift off to a hover then climb out, is just awesome... I know his Ch47's do the same... I'd like to see some more of that... would be great for carriers.

If you volunteer to be his full time nanny and go to work for him, he might consider modeling again......

Right!... just commenting on his work... we all know real life always comes first... I know time is a huge factor with this stuff, and is very much appreciated.

Just a small thing to report with the T-38s that emerged running ACA2007 after installing some traffic.
The model entries are wrong for the following entries (at leas in my setup)
MAIW_JKAI_T-38_WM_62-690
MAIW_JKAI_T-38_WM_65-418

The _ symbol is missing from the model entries used and this prevents the aircrafts to show up.
Here are the correct entries
model=T-38C_1G_2c for 62-690
model=T-38C_1G_2c_pod for 65-418

James, that's because you still have the old models. The new models that come with this version don't have the underscores in the model folder name.

This happens sometimes with all ai formations due to them sharing the same fp, minus different altitude settings, its most noticeable if u load a flight and the ai is already in flight
