Hi Dale,
Nice work and research, the only trouble is next year on the 1st you may have to do it all again as I think these swapping bits and pieces will be a regular thing to keep the fleet flying. :D
Regards and Happy New Year.

Hi Maurizio,
I think it's Firefox not the site. I regularly download from flightsim aswell as avsim and my antivirus software "avast" as never brought up a warning about flightsim but it does for some sites so I am happy it's protecting me.

From what i could gather it depends which server you end up on (they have 3 of them I think) I think it's 2 that are affected.

BTW, nice work Dale :D

They were ordered before they knew how much use they'd be getting put of them. The flying rate is so high that maintenance has become a big issue. When I was at Lyneham before they closed it was quite shocking to hear the stories.

Read somewhere, a while back, that it was a special paint designed to deal with additional wear & tear they were getting from the conditions in Afghanistan; needless to say I can't find the magazine I read it in, or corroboration on the interwebz, but it makes sense if you look at which areas are painted. But hey, as ever, I could be wrong!!

Thanks for these Dale, a very timely release as I'm in the middle of a big reinstall. Superb work, as ever.

Here is the older FP's had for Grahams paints, I did not make these, just adjusted them with the new paints. Some of the paints were used as duplicates,ie XV200 and XV885.

WARNING: these are set up for FSX using AIFP2, you should be able to decompile with TTools, if not I can post all the 3 txt files. Just basic ones to get the C-130K or C12345, or whatever you Brits named your Hercules! <-kidding

Love the repaints but the lightmaps(l.BMP) seem to be mixed up in th J and J-30 packs. I don't know if it makes a difference, just a heads up.

Chris,

Can you post the txt files please? TTools will not decompile the bgl. :?

I wonder if anybody has figured out that if the entire fleet had the same scheme then they wouldn't have the panel problem.
Normally I would guess that they are aware but with the defence cuts I would say that it might be a toss up. :)

Text file, again I only added the new paints and did not adjust the FP. I saw the lightmap name issue, so only copied in the texture. You will also need to add the "prop_anim_ratio=-0.12" to your .cfg entries.
I have them all using ASCOT for the callsign, is this correct for these?

For the most part they use ASCOT. They do use RAFAIR when on official international flights.

Loaded these into my system this morning and its causing a CTD as its loading the
traffic. Not sure why just yet but I'm investigating. Dropped back in my old Herks/FP
and all went ok.

Will let you know what happens
