ACG Gutersloh
Have a look at these vids of Gutersloh, I think this could be one of the best freeware sceneries out there:

Re: ACG Gutersloh
Personally this is one of the most anticipated scenery releases - been following it for a few years now. The videos are great but that second one is brilliant.....so much time must have gone into making that alone....

Nice video!
The opening scenes brought back some memories, I used to cycle along that road every morning on the way to work. The jets had gone by then and those ASPs were full of trucks, except the 1 Regt AAC pan, of course

Manfred is doing an unbelievable job with that scenery. And yes, this second video is really absolute top class.

Hi guys,
thank you for all the kind comments. Here some pics now of the current status:
The scenery will come with John Youngs incredible Harrier GR3 and T4... Thank you so much, John.

Re: ACG Gutersloh
Manfred,
Simply incredible. Beside all the other things it is the streets that are killing me. They are... German streets, not FS streets. But everything has a level of detail that is overwhelming. Grass, ground textures, vehicles...
It is the perfect scenery for the first appearance of the next of John's beauties

Re: ACG Gutersloh
Thank you for your kind comments.
Just to say, responsible for the "real" look is Pete Beeby, my partner on that scenery. He built the fantastic ground polygons and also these awesome trees textures and the grass. I think, we are on border of what FS9 is able to show by keeping the performance in mind. We had to stop creating details because of the final decreasing framerate. But all is done with heartblood and enthusiasm, so hopefully we can release a nice piece of former military airbases soon - means hopefully June this year....
Some few more details...

Re: ACG Gutersloh
That's looking damn impressive, even more so for a freeware scenery
Seeing that railway crossing, and being a bit of a railfan, I had to go look it up on Google Earth. Quite impressive that they have/had their own railway siding

Wow! It's breath taking. That is all I can say without using the adjective f___ing.

All the RAFG airfields had them, alot of personel arrived there by train before the days of the airheads.

Re: ACG Gutersloh
John Young finished his second marvel of the Harriers: The Trainer T4 version....
Here in its "natural habitat"
The Harrier Hides will come (hopefully) soon after the RAF Gütersloh release. With John's Harriers certainly some interesting additions, because the jets can operate in a close circuit of Gütersloh...
