They are "airfields" created on the main KNHK airfield to allow the helicopters to use helipads as opposed to using the main runway avoiding long unrealistic taxi routes.

Jim
Thanks for the plans. In converting them to FSX, I found a couple of waypoints I don't have.
Where did the waypoints 6NHK, 7NHK, and 8NHK come from
Did you make them or were they part of another package
1NHK - 3NHK were part of the original Pax River but I haven't found any 4NHK or >.

Did these ever get released?Joecoastie wrote:Sitka, Kodiak, and Mobile are in the works. Cape Cod, Clearwater, and San Diego have been sent to requesters.
More importantly, did I miss the USCG repaints?
Many Thanks

Re: AI BlackHawk
Jim,
Thanks. I still have some work to do on the USCG H-60's flight plans. I sort of get sidetracked on projects. Take Sitka flight plans . . . . I made some basic plans to get them to show up. Found out I didn't have any 'good' scenery or AFCAD for Sitka. Ended up buying 'Tongass Fjords' package. It has some great Sitka scenery. I had to mod the AFCAD to provide parking for the Coasties. Also added parking for a USCG fixed wing. Had to make a FP to check it out. A weekly flight from Astoria for their upcoming HC-144. While following the 144 found that all AI approaching Sitka from the south never get low enough on approach to land because of the terrain. So had to mod the AFCAD so all landings are from the north. Spent some time flying low and looking at the scenery. Then thought about Kodiak's mountains. Same thing . . . had to find a 'good' Kodiak AFCAD. Found one and had to mod it for the Coasties. Added parking for the five MH-60's, and the five HC-130's, and the five MH-65's stationed there. Made basic FP's to see how it looked. Got sidetracked with the MH-65's and ended up doing some flight plans to place them at Atlantic City, Savannah, and Detroit where I added parking to the AFCADs. Sidetracked again after I read a piece on the first three C-37's arriving at Elizabeth City. Painted three AI C-37's, modded KECG and flight plans for them. Read the posts about the new H-60 models John is doing for the JDF. Asked about the Aussie H-60's. Saw your post about the USNTPS, SAR flight plans. Went to Pax River and found out I hadn't completed converting the scenery and AFCAD to FSX. Spent a fair bit of time on that and when finished found that none of your SAR or NTPS H60's showed up. Two days chasing that I found that the FP's somehow got set to 100% and I was something to the left of that (yes I have read your 'signature' many times). Some where in all this I also fixed up the AFCAD for HMAS Albatross for the Aussie H-60's, downloaded a little Aeronca 'bathtub' that is fun to fly, Worked on the damn convertible top on my BMW, closed up the pool for the winter, watched the baseball playoffs, did many 'jobs' for the Missus, and imbibed my fair share of the golden liquid.
I WILL finish Sitka and Kodiak flight plans. Promise.
The 43 USCG MH-60 paints are on Avsim and Flightsim. They were uploaded the day after John posted the BlackHawks.
Cheers, Joe.
(sorry for the long post . . . now what was I doing ? where did I set my beer ?)

Hi Jim, any chance this being available as a zip file? I can't undo rar files!!jimrodger wrote:Some FPs to get the Sea Hawks flying.Joseph29 wrote:Does anyone know where I can get flightplans for the US Naval Test Pilot School and the NAS Patuxent River Blackhawks?
I modified the MAIW provided KNHK airfield and have provided a couple of AFCADs for the USNTPS and the SAR birds use.
Any feedback would be gratefully appreciated.

Re: AI BlackHawk
I uploaded the Black Hawk package that mins has produced for The Republic of Korea to Avsim this morning. The package contains 15 examples of Air Force, Navy, Army and Presidential Black Hawks, using a variety of my my models, including the new "gull-wing":
No scenery or flight plans are included.
The file is called: ROK_Blackhawks_FS9_1.zip and should be available later today.
My thanks to mins for doing these paints.

I'm sure you can, but I've done 25 models and that's enough to be getting on with for now.
