The Central Flying School of AFB Langebaanweg owns 46 PC-7 Astras, 6 of them belong to the Silver Falcons and 4 have been written off over the years. Langebaanweg received it first Pc-7's in October 1994..

No Flight Plans will be included in the pack, so if some kind soul would like to do some that would be fantastic ;)

Go and fetch them from Mark's page and see what an outstanding paint job he has done again. Really looking forward to have a photo session with those :smt001

Mind you - there are two downloads: the Gooney Bird support aircraft with a true FSX and FS9 version, and the PC-7 Silver Falcons.
Cheers,
Martin

Hi,
I can't seem to get the traffic to appear at Langebaanweg. I have installed the scenery file with it's own scenery.cfg entry and installed the traffic bgl into world/scenery .I can see that the airbase bgl is active but there are no aircraft appearing on any of the parking slots. AI traffic is working as there are other AI aircraft around.

I am using FSX.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
thanks

I noticed one thing, the copy of Milan's PC-9 that I was using had an FSX parking radius of 9 m. I set the wingspan back to 33 ft which brought the parking radius down to 6 m, but still no joy.

I also stuck a panel and sound folder in the PC-9 folder to make sure that there wasn't anything wrong with the installation of the PC-9 and it appears as a player aircraft and works fine.

Thanks

Mark, the PC-9 model was used as it was more to the shape representing the PC-7 Astra! :)

Gavin

The model you should be using is the clean version from the Oman Air Force package.

The real Astra has no hard points. Built that way as a condition of purchase.

John

The PC-7 MkII amounts to a PC-9 with a PC-7 engine.

Hi,
I replaced the model by the one out of the Oman kit and ran the aircraft.cfg file thru a re-number utility to make sure it was good.
Still no luck with the traffic. Bizzarely I made a basic test flight plan with the 6 Silver Falcons doing TNGs at FALW and they show up fine.
