I was wondering about the long nose version Chris. I've spent a few hours researching the Emarss and USC&BP aircraft.

Am I right in my understanding that there is only 1 Emarss prototype flying at the moment? I'm very confused about the procurement plans and the type variations.

I managed to find a reference to the USC&BP aircraft that told me that as at March 2014, 6 aircraft were operational but the fleet could grow to 30-50 aircraft. So far I have found 5 serial numbers.

These models would require a lot of additional work, including a redesign of the texture sheet to accommodate the longer fuselage. I think because both programs are in their infancy I would prefer to wait until a later date and do an update when there is more to work with that would justify the effort.

The long nose is also on the VADER 350ER, but I have not been able to find a good pic of the 3 airframes purchased. I also no longer have fidelity on how many are being tested. For the USC&BP 350ERs, a repaint on your current versions would fine for now I think, to included the sat antenna dome on top.

I think I'll leave those for now Chris. I've written half the manual and I don't really want to get bogged down on a very few number of aircraft that will require a disproportionate amount of effort to realise, even if we could find some decent reference material. Thanks for trying though.

Can't wait to get my hands on the FS9 R.1 been updating my RAF stuff to current aircraft. Also we've had them flying around here. Think there is an Army exercise on as I've been hearing tank rounds being fired on the ranges.

Here's some flightplans for the USMC UC-12W's. 8204 and 8205 are based at NAS JRB New Orleans and the rest are spread out at their respective MCAS's. John Stinstrom included MC-12W plans in his updated Beale AFB scenery, so I haven't done those.

Good stuff! We seem to all love the models with lots of pointy things hanging off of them!

Huge thanks again JY for the models, you seemed to have answered my requests for not one, but both models I've been missing in the sim. Very cool to have the real world version I fly in the sim.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.

Brent has just pointed out to me that the nose letters on the JGSDF aircraft in the uploaded zips (FS9 and FSX) are all the same and 3 are missing their tail art. There should be 5 variations of nose letters. I'm totally baffled as to why that's happened when I made the textures as they should be and had sent Brent a copy sometime before the release. Anyway, it wasn't a big job to re-do them and this morning I sent an update zip (FS9 and FSX) to the Download Hangar queue. If you have installed the JGSDF LR2's then you might want to update the textures.

Thanks Brent for spotting the omission.

Of course one other thing that could now be updated is our Ben Gurion package from all those years ago. The 7x RC-7D/Ks that the IDF/AF, or IASF, have at Sde Dov.
Whilst it may not be an exact match for the D/Ks the RC-12X is a lot closer than the original B200s that we used.

Anybody fancy doing these?
Steve
