Retro Warthog

Post by phantomfreak »

Haven't posted anything in a little while, but this is something I've been wanting to do for a good while. I present to you retro repaints for the RWAI A-10A Thunderbolt.

The first package is for Davis-Monthan AFB and should be on AVSIM soon.

Thank you very much for these. I spent many summers with my grandparents in Tucson and fondly remember these green jets before they got old and gray... I mean, er... um.. the new paint jobs..

Uploading some new paints to AVSIM as I'm typing. This time it's the 23rd TFW from England AFB, Louisiana. I've included some waypoints along with an afcad of KAEX, to have a place for parking. It's not real fancy but it does the job. Other waypoints are in my other packages.

Should be available soon.

Uploading two new paint sets. The first one is for the 18th TFS/343rd TFW from Eielson AFB and the second is for the 422nd TES/57th FWW from Nellis AFB. I used 422T and 66WS for the parking codes for the Nellis jets, so they should utilize those parking spots in the Nellis package. I also did not include a traffic file for the Nellis jets as the traffic file in the Nellis package. The only drawback is that the Nellis package is only for 13 jets, but it wouldn't be that difficult to add the other three.

Uploading repaints for the A-10s of the 442nd TFW Air Force Reserve that were formerly based at Richard-Gebaur ARS. I included an afcad of KGVW to park them. The traffic file in the Whiteman package can be modified for these changes.

I've uploaded repaints for the test A-10s to AVSIM. Six paints for the ones based at Eglin, 1 for the ALC at McClellan, and the YA-10B at Edwards. However my YA-10B is a single seat marked as the twin seater. Traffic files included. Have fun!
