Rich

This is perplexing.

Make sure that the Addon scenery is at number 1 in your scenery library editor.

Use windows to search the whole fs9 folder for EGOV to find duplicates.

Other than that I do not know what else can cause your problem.

wondering if anyone can help me.

I use EGUN and EGUL quite a lot. So I downlaoded your packages but for EGUN if I change the AFCAD file then the excludes dissapear and default building appear on the taxiways.

can anyone help me with this issue. Love the scenery but want to edit the parking configuration and in doing so loose the excludes.

I use ACAD on my pc and fly fs9.

thanks

If I remember right, the AFD of EGUN, was created with AFX. You can't use AFCAD to edit it.

ok,

I dont have AFX nor do i know how to use it. I still use afcad. Could someone who know how to use it send me an AFX for EGUN with the excludes but without the parking and I use my custom AF2 file

I just installed the new V-22 AI at Mildenhall and I am having a problem with something. When I go to the scenery my AI will not have any textures and they will stay that way for 30 or 40 seconds. After the textures come back I will taxi around and other AI planes will not have textures and they will take a few seconds to load also. What can be going on?? This doesn't happen at any other airport in my sim. I have had this scenery installed for a while now, but this is the first time I noticed this problem.

PS: I use FS9 and I did get a new graphic card a week and a half ago so maybe that has something to do with it?

It sounds like your system is struggling to process all the textures. How much memory does your graphic card have?

Where would I find that info? The graphic card is a GeForce GTX 950. Also if my system is struggling to process the textures how come I don't have a problem at other airports?

What frame rate are you getting at Mildenhall - at maximum quality settings, with the whole airfield in the screen, clouds and AI? You probably want two readings, one facing north with Lakenheath active (if you have it) and one facing south with Lakenheath out of the frame.

I've just checked mine. I have no problems with loading textures and my frame rate is 50 fps facing Lakenheath and 65 fps facing away from it (FS9). Osprey Beta testers haven't reported a problem either.

My graphics card is an NVidia GTX 580SC with 1.5 MM of memory - not overly powerful.

Looking away from Lakenheath in spot view I get between 30 and 47 fps. And facing Lakeheath around 40 fps. I did re install the Mildenhall scenery and I still get the texture problem I described above but the textures are loading a bit faster. I also noticed that not only do plane textures disappear but so do a few building textures in the scenery and a bunch of trees that are at the end of runway 29.

When I get home I will re download Lakeheath and install the scenery. I do have the AI installed for Lakeheath but no scenery or AFCAD. I thought I had that scenery installed. Maybe that is what is causing my problems.

You are probably missing the texture files for those vehicles.

If you can post a picture of which vehicles are missing their textures, we can point in in the right direction where to download them.

My suggestion is to re-install the textures from the following scenery libraries:

GGSE.bgl
JGSE.bgl

Those can be found as part of the MAIW global scenery libraries.

Those vehicles look to be from those two libraries so re-installing their textures should solve your problem.
