Colombus AFB

Post by shaggy22 »

Base visit at Columbus Air Force Base, one of the busiest bases i've ever been to, there's always something in the circuit, they use 3 runways to deal with all the traffic, pretty much 1 runway per aircraft type. I also make no apologies for the amount of T-38's in this post, they're to cool not to post

Brings back some fun memories. I was in the second to last ROTC professional development training group to get incentive flights in the mighty tweet at Columbus.

Det. 345 UMASS Lowell crosstowning from Daniel Wbester College. It was a program called OPS NCO professional development training. 2.5 weeks at Robbins AFB and three days at Columbus AFB for the incentive flight. My other incentive flight was in a KC-135R.
