Thank you for the kind words everyone. I'm glad your enjoying the scenery.

Regarding Traffic there are two parking files with the scenery, one for the main base which is designed to work with the existing MAIW AI package and the other for Johns Pave Hawks. In fact John made that one when he was testing the Pavehawk and it works a treat without interfering with the normal flight line.

Have just spent a happy afternoon checking out Lakenheath and Upper Heyford.
Both are superb and full of great AI courtesy of so many great contributors.

Thanks to all concerned.

After about 4 hrs trying to figure out why the mudhens would not show (which included turning off/on all my addon scenery)
I started looking at the AI itself. And low and behold when I added Zsolt's paints back when he first released them I had forgotten
to add the air file to each folder. Now all is well at Lakenheath, I even had a visitor from Mildenhall (Osprey) stop by.

I've installed Lakenheath and am using Horizon GenX scenery. The airfield is really nice, but it doesn't sit well in GenX. There are cliffs around the airfield. Maybe not enough to make we want to stop using it though.

Thank you for it.

The Pavehawks at Lakenheath are included in John Young's original Blackhawk Family package.

You can find the FS2004 version in our Download Hangar here: LINK.

Ian, many many thanks for this amazing scenery. The old version worked really well but this is just beyond anything else and even on my slow stuttery system I can enjoy your superb scenery in all its glory.

Might just park a helo of some type in the spectators car park and just sit back and watch all the AI. I have some nicve additional visitors such as some 90's F-111 which makes it a tad unreal but all the more fun.

Again, many thanks for all your time and effort and to you and all those involved in AI additions in making this almost more than a hobby for me.

Just realised there is an Upper Heyford as well so off to install that now as its only a few miles away and I worked there a few years ago after its closure so will be good to see it brought back to life again!

Hi,

...I am making available the first Official Update for Ian's wonderful RAF Lakenheath Scenery Package.

The Update which is available from the download link provided, contains a fully Seasonal version of the EGUL ground photo image.
It has been colour-matched to make it compatible with ORBX FTX England surrounding terrain only.
Ian has provided a custom ' Night ' map to also compliment the Seasonal version of the photo image.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/qmfaopa51 ... _Image.zip

Instructions -

Navigate to your RAF Lakenheath / Scenery / folder -
Replace the file named' EGUL_Image.bgl ' with the file contained in the zip called ' EGUL_Seasonal_Image.bgl ' and that's it done!!

All original copyrights remain.

Hope you like what you see,

Regards,

Pete Beeby.

For those of you interested in the EGUL ' Rain ' or ' Wet ' Surface Effect Package, you will need to download the very latest
Sim Object Display Engine ( SODE ) Version from here - ( Will only work with version 1.3.4 or newer )

http://sode.12bpilot.ch - Downloads

You must register your interest for this package ( when it becomes available shortly ) by personnel message to me, as there
will be no generic download link.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask here.

Regards,

Pete.
