Pleased to report that he last component of the Poseidon packages is all done, courtesy of John B. It’s RAAF Edinburgh, home to both the P-8As and AP-3C Orions:

This has enabled me to complete the packages and send them for inclusion in the Download Hangar. That's done and the files will be called:

JYAI_Posiedons_FS9_1.zip and JYAI_Posiedons_FSX_1.zip. The paint kit is called "Paint_Kit_JYAI_poseidons.zip".

I hope I have included everything. They were tricky packages to put together and because they have been built over time, I tended to forget how they all fit together. Hartwig, I think, still has to finish his manual for Patuxant River and hopefully his upload will follow shortly. In the meantime, users can be getting on with installing the other components of the Poseidon packages.

This and the Wedgetail packages have been a consorted effort by a number of people here at MAIW. I would like to thank Gary Barker, Desmond Burrell, Jake Burrus, John Burtenshaw, Steve Holland, Mins, Brent Newman, Ray Parker, Hartwig Ullrich, John Stinstrom, Stewart Pearson and John Tenn for all they have contributed. I hope I haven't missed anyone.

Thank you very much for this package! It is really nice! Now I have 2 questions.

1. I use John Stinstrom's Jacksonville scenery. Do I need to do anything so the P-8's pack in the right spots? The readme say to delete MAIW_AF2_KNIP_DEFAULT.bgl, MAIW_KNIP_exclude.BGL through to MAIW_KNIP_exclude10.BGL. I don't have any of those files. My AFCAD for Jacksonville is MAIW_AF2_KNIP_custom.bgl.

2. Has the new scenery for Patuxant River and Edinburgh been uploaded? I can't find them.

One more question. Do we have to delete anything from the MAIW Patuxant River package? Maybe they retired some P-3's since that package came out? The readme doesn't say anything about that.

Ok I found the Edinburgh scenery, but when do I find the P-3 paints that are based there?

Nicely Done Sir. Congrats on not just another exceptional package, but the highly organized manual you and the "team" put together.

Also I think I found a error in the Jacksonville flightplans (for FS9) AC#56 and AC#62 use the title MAIW_JAI_P3C_USN_LT_VP-62_163003. Also AC#55 and AC#61 use the title MAIW_JAI_P3C_USN_LT_VP-62_161409

Thanks for the kind feedback everyone. I knew I shouldn't have done the uploads while the meat was roasting yesterday (busy day cooking for my wife's birthday gathering). The AP-3C's were indeed missing from both the FS9 and FSX zips. Sorry about that.

Well spotted Joseph. There are indeed two duplications in the P-3 flight plans for Jacksonville. I've now changed those. Just read through the Jacksonville section of the manual again. Make sure you have downloaded the packages suggested. I've just double checked and the files that need to be deleted are indeed in the MAIW_Florida_Orions package.

Mark, sorry for the inconvenience, but I've put updated zips in my folder 412. Is it a simple job to swap them out in the library please?

I'm sure Hartwig will tell us where he is with his Pax River package when he next drops by. His manual will specify any file manipulation required to see the P-8As there, but I'm expecting that all will be fine as is.

Thanks John. And just so you (and everyone else) know, the custom scenery for Jacksonville NAS that John Stinstrom made is in the MAIW package USN Airliners Part 2.

Quite so, just follow the instructions in the Poseidon manual to update it with the new aircraft.

Thanks very much to everyone for this superb package. I have just one quick question, the waypoints in the Indian section numbered INP1-9. Does anyone know which package they are in? Many thanks
