Thanks, always nice to see a new model built specifically for AI :D

And off topic, but the joy that is a FS9 CTD reared its ugly head after I installed this package. So I removed the traffic file - but the CTD persisted. A scan for duplicate AFCADs showed nothing, so I went through my usual routine for finding causes for CTD, which ended up pointing to the Exotic Alberts RAAF package. However, just to be sure, I re-added that traffic file, and lo and behold, no CTD :lol: (I create a saved flight at a where I know a CTD happens and kept reloading that with various traffic files re-enabled until I was hit with a CTD)

This is not the same PC-9 model as the PC-9 model used in the MAIW Oman Flying Academy package? (I didn't install this package yet, will do that tomorrow)

This is a completely new breed of model series, with all the bells and whistles attached. More packages with this model are in the works so stay tuned folks.

Yup, I'm getting a CTD as well after loading this package.

And you are not the only one.I had a chance to test it during development and I can say that this is one of the best AI models produced so far...

Noted but this is not a problem with this package, it works fine on a default setup.

Guy's,
Do be aware that you may experience CTD on some setups if also using parts of the old RAAF_AI or ADF_AI package which was put together by another author independent of MAIW some years ago.
Not all the aircraft in those two packages are true AI and can overload RAAF Williamtown base scenery when combined with MAIW Hornet & Hawk 127 packages.
I have not experienced any CTD at or near RAAF Williamtown on my setup.

I know this is years late but I have just noticed that a model is missing from this release:

[fltsim.1]
title=MAIW_RAAF_PC-9A_A23-031
sim=KRMG_AI_PC-9A_AI_ONLY
model=Duel_RAAF_WingTanks_Smoke
texture=RAAF A23-031
PROP_ANIM_RATIO=2.10
atc_airline=BLUE
atc_parking_types=MIL_COMBAT
atc_parking_codes=FACD
ui_manufacturer=MAIW Kevin Reed/Mark Griggs AI
ui_type=Pilatus PC-9A
ui_variation=4 Sqn RAAF Williamtown, A23-031
description=KRMG AI Pilatus PC-9A turboprop basic trainer.

The result of beta-testing AIAE v3 and cross-checking with ACA2016 AIAE v2 !!

Hello Peter,

I just checked my final release from 4 or 5 years ago and the model is included. I also just downloaded the package again and the model is included.

Only 4 aircraft in the package and your the first one to say this. Maybe an issue with your install?

I did not use any Beta testing software just looked in the folder. So recommend you reinstall and please get back to us if any further problems appear.

Cheers
Mark

Peter,

I can see your problem now, your model entry is spelt differently to the entry in the package. Please change to the correct version below.

model=Dual_RAAF_WingTanks_Smoke

Cheers

Thanks Mark

I will download again & report back. Before I brought this up I checked this thread but there was no reports of errors or of updated releases. I know I downloaded the package within hours of its release, but back then I did not carry out any of the checks that I now do automatically.

I think this must have been an error by my own clumsy hand. I checked my copy of the original download with the .exe file dated 31-may-12 and it had the "model.Duel_RAAF_WingTanks_Smoke" and I have a vauge memory of correcting the spelling. The version I have just downloaded was dated 26-jun-12 and that one had the correct spelling. I think I must have missed out that folder when I brought all my RAAF PC9A's into one aircraft folder.

Sorry Guys
