Another beauty John, thank you.
I noticed on the FS9 TB-58 model, that when the aircraft is parked the second pilot's helmet is always there. I think something went wrong linking the helmet to the pilot's hiding/showing xml.

Aha, I can see people are paying attention, it's the second report I have had of that. Good spotting Menno and Pete B also, thank you both.

It is indeed due to a missing link between the pilot's head and the pilot's body. The head itself is animated and needs it's own coding, so it has to be linked as a child to the parent pilot body which carries the code to make the combined parts appear only at departure -15 minutes. Without the link, the pilot's head remains visible at all times. Unfortunately, I missed the link in both the FS9 and FSX models. Sorry about that.

I have attached the corrected model files below. My apologies, but could one of the library managers swap out the files in the FS9 and FSX zips please?

Menno, just noticed from your screen shot, the Hustler will look much better in FS9 with reflections turned on in your aircraft settings.

Thanks John, it was taken in my test setup, for "normal" ops I use the refelections, and the Hustler then does look nicer.

Thank you so much!!!
If you are missing some inspiration for what should be coming next, I guess that some interceptor from the 50-60 are still missing like the F-89,F-94 and F-86D... :smt040 :smt040

Thanks for the suggestions - maybe downstream, but something modern is coming next.

The Glowing Heat FS9 B-58 is still available at PCAviator and PCAviator Australia (this is the former Alphasim model, published in 2006, created by Dave Bushell) :

Besides enjoying this AC in FSX, I recently bought a new PC for Flight Sim World. The B-58, B-36 and B-47 all show up and fly great in the new sim. FSW is in early release and parking is a work in progress but it is a tribute to John's exceptional work that they show up so well. I have screen shots. Also wonder if I'm violating any proprietary agreements by using them in another sim (with custom flight plans and no MAIW scenery).

You are not violating any rights if you are using/modding something for your own personal use. The problem starts only when you make what you have done available to others.
